A large number of PU teachers, employees, students, children and representatives of Christians, Hindu and Sikh community participated in the gathering to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir and condemn Indian atrocities. The participants were holding placards and banners inscribed with the slogans of freedom of Indian Held Kashmir, demanding international community to take notice of human rights violations in occupied area.
A walk was organized by TEVTA to show solidarity with Kashmiri brothers and sisters by TEVTA under the leadership of its Chairman Ali Salman Siddique which was attended in huge numbers by students, faculty members, COO Akhter Abbas Bharwana and TEVTA Officers & Staff. Addressing the participants Chairman TEVTA said that the entire nation was standing behind their Kashmiri Brothers and Sisters for condemning the atrocities meted out by Indian occupied forces against the innocent Kashmiris. He pointed out that Kashmir cannot be subjected to subjugation by India for long through use of brutal force.
The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore and it all campuses including Ravi Campus Pattoki, Collage of Veterinary & Animal Sciences Jhang, Khan Bahadur Chaudhary Mushtaq Ahmad Para-Veterinary College (KBCMA CVAS) Narowal and Para Veterinary Institute Karor Lal Eason Layyah Campus organised Rallies to demonstrate solidarity with people of occupied Kashmir.
UVAS Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Masood Rabbani led rally while a large number of students from different departments of UVAS, faculty members and administrative staff participated. The participants of the rally were waving flags of Pakistan and Kashmir and they shouted slogans of "Kashmir will become Pakistan" and also chanting slogans against Indian forces' brutalities against the Kashmiris.
